To say that an white infant is born with some white European centric bias doesn’t make any empirical sense. We know the mind is a blank slate in the early stages of learning.

We are all racists in terms of thinking our team is somewhat better than the other teams. Nothing wrong with that.

This concept of unconscious bias is a theory not a fact. We don’t exist in the unconscious state. It’s easy to say you are bias in the unconscious state. It’s irrefutable if the statement is made. You can’t deny something you are unaware of. Because a person is white you conclude he or she is bias towards other races unconsciously. You could say that about other people and other races.

Are there racist people? Absolutely. Are there people that act out their racism. True also. Can you make the statement all <fill in the blank> people are racist in a harmful sense. Absolutely not.
