It's very troubling to me that both sexes are so confused and adversarial. Currently both sexes especially as they mature have chosen to be celibate(more or less) possibly because of pride(both sides) or cultural dogma imposed upon women. Not being judgmental it's just the way it is.

It's not like men and women don't want to be together they just don't want to give up anything.

I do glaze over when "relationships" are discussed. The worst thing you can say to a man is you don't make me happy. Or repeat feminist doctrine doctrine like the man should be doing more around the house when he is already away from the home 60 hours a week at a job he hates. Statistically women work far less hours at much safer jobs.

I am basically a geek software engineer that is used to in depth problem solving. Curiosity dragged me into this topic. I am fairly unemotional about the current cultural issues regarding men and women. I study the arguments from both sides just like a science project. My belief so far is sexual roles have changed but fundamental attitudes have not and will not. Therefore the frustration.

Thanks for listening Shefali. I almost never reply to replies. I let them stand on their own. But your reply was different.
