I was born white and I am straight. Does that make me racist, misogynistic or anti-gay ? I don’t wake up in the morning and plan on who I am going to mean to Today.

According to some, everyone must be placed in a category. With that label in mind some can pull out a whole narrative about what “those people” believe, what their motivations are with hatred usually being one of them. People are way too complex to attach some simple set of attributes especially to a category made up of millions of people. It’s up to you to identify and isolate within your predefined category. You know what those categories are. They have to do with skin color, sex, sexual preference and voting party affiliation. If your belief system requires hate, you pay a price. Not only does hate take a lot energy to maintain, it robs you of your dreams and energy to be creative, to use your talents to improve yourself and others around.

You often hear I can’t <fill in the blank> because someone or some group wouldn’t let me. Don't you know what happened in the years around 1619 ? Or the years before the 19th amendment was passed in 1920 or the years before Loving v. Virginia (1967)? Or even before United States v. Windsor (2013)?

The year is 2021. Never in the life of the Republic has it been a better time for anyone to choose to work hard and fulfill their dreams.
